Cornelius, February 14, 2024 — With the aim of bringing joy and warmth to the Lake Norman area, the musicians of the Cornelius Youth Orchestras assembled Valentine treat bags for the patrons of Angels and Sparrows, a community table and resource center serving those in need. The students used their rehearsal breaks to decorate cards and assemble bags of candy.
Through their involvement in community outreach projects, the young musicians learn the importance of giving back and that acts of kindness, no matter how small, can make a difference in the lives of others.
