Cornelius, NC – This past Saturday families and friends gathered in Cain Park, eagerly awaiting the magical moment when the Town of Cornelius’ Christmas tree would be illuminated at the town’s annual Light Up, Cornelius event. Throughout the event, the community enjoyed live music, train rides, craft vendors, photos with Santa Claus, a sledding hill, a model train display, and food and beverage vendors.
Against the backdrop of the Cain Center of the Arts, the Orchestra, led by Eric Boruff, serenaded the audience with a repertoire that ranged from classic holiday tunes to well-loved orchestral pieces. The synergy between the youthful exuberance of the orchestra and the festive ambiance was truly heartwarming. Their performance didn’t just entertain; it encapsulated the essence of unity and shared joy, embodying the spirit of the holiday season.
