Youth Orchestra Auditions:
Auditions are held at Open Houses
Requirements:
Bring your instrument
Scales: C, D and G
A short piece of Music which demonstrates your playing ablility
Auditions for cadets are optional
*Auditions are for placement only, and not as a pre-requisite for enrollment. CYO is open to all area community youth.

•§ BEGINING GROUP INSTRUCTION: NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED. Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:45 PM. Program fees for each Session (Fall Semester, Spring Semester) are $180.00/child (10% discount for families with 2 or more children) per semester.
•§ CADET ORCHESTRA: ONE TO THREE YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. Sectional practice and Orchestra: Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:45 PM. Program fees for each Session (Fall Semester, Spring Semester) are $180.00/child (10% discount for families with 2 or more children) per semester.
•§ YOUTH ORCHESTRA: THREE + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. Sectional practice Tuesdays from 6:30 – 7:15 PM and full Orchestra immediately following from 7:15 – 8:30 PM. Program fees for each Session (Fall Semester, Spring Semester) are $200.00 / child (10% discount for families with 2 or more children) per semester.
•§ "NEW" JAZZ ENSEMBLE: THREE + YEARS OF EXPERIENCE. Practices Tuesdays from 6:00 – 6:45PM. Program fees for JAZZ ONLY Students per Session (Fall Semester, Spring Semester) are $150.00/child ( If registered in Youth Orchestra fee will ve waived and addtion $20 for Music fees) per semester.
•§ Summer Evening Orchestra Program fees are $125.00.

Rehearsals are held at:
Bailey Road Recreation Center located at 11900 Bailey Road, in Cornelius, NC
(Bailey Road Middle School).

student’s seat in the program.)
Students are expected to attend each rehearsal and concert performance unless prior arrangements are made with the Program Director in order to allocate music and performance parts equitably.
There are no deposit refunds after you submit payment unless the program is canceled due to insufficient enrollment or special arrangements are made with the Program Director.
Payment is due in full no later than the session start date unless special arrangements are pre-arranged with the Program Director.
There will be a regular performances throughout the Program, for family, friends and the local community. Some are arranged based on the needs of the community, and may be impromtu but important to our community. Please come ready to enjoy yourself and help us make this a great experience for your student!
