WELCOME TO THE HOME OF THE CORNELIUS YOUTH ORCHESTRAS!
The mission of the Cornelius Youth Orchestras (CYO) is to educate and to enhance the knowledge, skills and abilities of the community youth by providing young musicians with unique orchestral training and performance opportunities. Every opportunity is made to provide an atmosphere where the student is challenged by the discipline of music training and involved in group performance in a comfortable, positive and engaging environment.
The Cornelius Youth Orchestras is open to youth musicians aged 6 - 18 who have 1 or more years of experience in strings, woodwinds, brass, percussion and piano instruments.
Rehearsals are held on Tuesdays from 6:30 - 8:30 at Bailey Middle School

The remainder of the program fee can be provided in person at the first class Session, or partial payment may be made based on payment arrangements made with Nanette Haraden, Program Director. IMPORTANT:
A registracion fee of $20.00 must either be paid on-line or be mailed to the CYO. The remainder of the program fee can be provided in person at the first class Session unless payment arrangements have been made wih Nanette Haraden, Program Director. All of the information obtained via online enrollment will be automatically provided to us. Prior to the beginning of the class, we will contact you to confirm your information and answer any questions you may have.
Based on a student's prior muscial training and experience, we may be able to admit a student well after the program starts. However, if the student enrolls too close to a perfomance, we do reserve the right to limit his/her participation in that particular event. This is always addressed on an individual basis, so please don't hesitate to ask!
